The cracked old varnish on this piece was mixed with a dark stain which masked the beautiful figuring of the walnut veneer. Stripped back and with the base stained black a tired old cupboard is given a much more contemporary feel.

A slide out rail along with the drawers and compartments make this a very usable as well as attractive item which, at 4” high (1.22m if you prefer), won’t dominate a space in the way that a full sized wardrobe would.
