Covered in a thick layer of white gloss paint it would have been easy to pass this old cabinet by, it did look like an old fridge. But the shape seemed interesting, perhaps it was worth a closer look.

Stripped back to reveal the original walnut, varnished and with new handles, also rescued, it now looks like a piece of furniture again rather than a tired old domestic appliance.
